Welcoming spring with a nice walk around the ruins of the twin-towered Donnington Castle 🏰📷🌤️🇬🇧 Dyavolski most (Devil's Bridge) is the largest and most famous Roman bridge in the Rhodopes. According to one legend, a craftsman named Dimitar from the Nedelino village accepted the challenge to build a bridge over the wild river where everyone before him has failed. The Devil himself made a deal with the craftsman that if he succeeded, the Devil would share a secret that will make the man's creation eternal. If the craftsman did not succeed, however, his soul would belong to the Devil. The craftsman completed the task and won the bet. However, soon after that he passed away and took the secret with him. With the end of the sakura season 2021, I remember one of the most amazing journeys I have been on so far! Japan's spring is truly a stunning time of the year.
